The University of Nevada, Reno and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in concert with Nevada State College and the Nevada Geriatric Education Center are pleased to offer an online option for their respective certificate programs.  Because it is web-based, this Online Gerontology Certificate Program brings quality courses from different Nevada System of Higher Education campuses right to your fingertips.  This online learning experience is highly interactive and thought-provoking as you share ideas with classmates located throughout the state of Nevada and beyond. 

Designed for those who are working or located at a distance from UNR or UNLV, this 24-credit program provides cutting edge information that complements any experience or position you may currently hold or wish to pursue.  Due to the flexibility of this program, you can complete it from the comfort of your own home on your own schedule.  You have the freedom to learn wherever and whenever it is most convenient for you.  Courses are offered through each of the participating campuses.  Whatever your career path, this certificate provides an academic foundation in the rapidly expanding field of aging.
